Boil water advisory continues for Cato residents

The boil water advisory in one Cayuga County village has been extended.

After losing water pressure on Wednesday, November 23rd Cato residents have been told to boil water.

The pressure loss stemmed from a water main break.

The village is taking samples to confirm that there is no contamination. That process can take days.

The health department says they will send out a notification when residents can stop boiling water before use.
