The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man following an investigation into a crash on Saturday.
A little before 12:30 p.m. deputies responded to Old Lyons Road in Arcadia for a crash where one vehicle fled the scene.
Deputies located that vehicle, as well as the operator, who was identified as Liborio Mccauley, of Lyons.
It’s alleged that he refused to allow another vehicle to legally overtake his vehicle and struck the car. The second vehicle had juvenile occupants inside during the crash.
As result, Mccauley was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of child endangerment, leaving the scene of a crash, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, aggravated unlicensed operation, and reckless driving.
He was processed and released on appearance tickets.
