Sabres roll past Blues, 6-2

The Buffalo Sabres rolled past the St. Louis Blues, 6-2, in their new red-and-black goathead jerseys on Wednesday night at KeyBank Center. With the victory, Buffalo improved to 9-11-0 on the season.

Jeff Skinner and Jack Quinn scored twice to lead Buffalo to its second consecutive win. Dylan Cozens and Victor Oloffson also found the back of the net, while Alex Tuch collected a pair of assists.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made his second start with the Sabres and turned aside 34-of-36 shots.

Buffalo went 2-for-3 on the power play and 2-for-3 on the penalty kill.

The Sabres will continue their homestand on Friday when they host the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m.
