Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Cleveland Browns last Sunday, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Milano, who earned the award for the second time in his career, totaled 12 tackles, one sack, three tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery in Buffalo’s 31-23 victory.

The 28-year-old is the first player with at least 10 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and a fumble recovery in a single game since Ryan Shazier (Week 2, 2015).

Milano has a team-high 10 tackles for loss, 42 solo tackles, five passes defended, and three quarterback hits this season.
