The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Port Gibson man following a pursuit in Lyons on Sunday.
According to deputies, Jason Harrison, age 42, of Port Gibson failed to comply with police when they turned on their emergency lights and attempted a traffic stop around 4:30 p.m.
Harrison then led deputies on a pursuit through the town of Lyons. During that pursuit, he’s accused of tampering with physical evdience, and committing several traffic violations.
As result, Harrison faces charges of obstruction, unlawfully fleeing, tampering with physical evidence, reckless driving, and other vehicle and traffic violations.
He will appear in Lyons Town Court in December to answer the charges.
