An Ithaca man is accused of stabbing another person to death in October.
According to prosecutors, 39-year-old Jeremiah Jordan has been charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and tampering with physical evidence.
Jordan is accused of stabbing Michael Monroe to death a little after 1 a.m. near the Tompkins County Library in the city of Ithaca on October 28th.
He’s been in police custody at the Tompkins County Jail since without bail.
The maximum sentence for second-degree murder is 25 years.
