The Syracuse Crunch (6-6-1-2) topped the Belleville Senators (7-7-1-0), 5-4, on Saturday night at CAA Arena to earn their 1,000th win in franchise history and their fourth consecutive victory this season.
The win also marked the 300th win for head coach Ben Groulx.
Ilya Usau, Jack Finley, Trevor Carrick, Shawn Element, and Daniel Walcott all netted goals for the Crunch. Alex Barre-Boulet and Darren Raddysh each collected a pair of assists. Hugo Alnefelt stopped 23-of-27 shots.
Syracuse went 1-for-6 on the power play and 5-for-7 on the penalty kill.
The Crunch will get a few days off before they host the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
