Informational sessions about Beginning Farmer and Socially/Economically Disadvantaged Farmer Funds

There will be two informational sessions held by the Department of Agriculture regarding two different farming programs.

On program being discussed is the Beginning Farmer Fund worth $1 million dollars. The other is the Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Farmer Fund worth $4 million dollars.


The meetings will cover both programs and you can choose from one or the other. The first is on Thursday, November 17 at 7 p.m. The second is on Friday November 18 at 2:30 p.m.

These sessions will be 90 minutes each and discuss both programs. Participants will be given an overview of the programs and a chance to provide feedback about them.
