New information released on remains found in Waverly Glen Park

New information has been released about a body found in Waverly Glen Park last week.

According to My Twin Tiers, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation shared that the vehicle of the man they found dead in the park had been parked there for four days. Police haven’t shared the identity of the man, who was 30 years old.

On November 10 Forest Rangers responded to a search for a missing person around 2:30 p.m. In addition, Waverly-Barton Fire and New York State Police also responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle.

At 4:30 p.m. the Bradford County Emergency Services’ drone located the man’s body on the village property. The park was then cleared out around 5:30 p.m.
