The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 56-year-old following a welfare fraud investigation.
John Landsborough, age 56, is accused of filing false information with DSS for approximately one month.
As result he received nearly $200 in benefits he wouldn’t have been entitled to.
Landsborough was charged with offering a false instrument for filing, criminal use of a public benefit card, and petit larceny.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
