Police: Seneca County man arrested while preventing officers, EMS from rendering care while on medical emergency call

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a local resident while on a medical emergency call.

Scott Meldrum, a Seneca County resident, physically obstructed law enforcement and EMS from performing their duties while they were attempting to render care to a person at the residence.


No officers or EMS personnel were injured during the incident. However, Meldrum was charged with one count of obstruction as a misdemeanor.

He was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
