Syracuse blown out by Florida State in fourth straight loss (full coverage)

It was an ugly Saturday night for the Syracuse Orange football team as they fell to the Florida State Seminoles, 38-3, at the JMA Wireless Dome. With the loss, the Orange have lost four consecutive games after starting the season 6-0.

Syracuse was brutal in all three phases from the opening kickoff. The Orange had 142 yards of total offense, while Florida State had 423. Syracuse went 1-for-11 on third down and punted the ball eight times.

Garrett Shrader made his first start in two weeks and completed 6-of-17 passes for 65 yards with one interception. He also carried the ball 10 times for -11 yards. Sean Tucker totaled 52 yards on 14 carries.
