The four-seeded East Rochester/Gananda Bombers had their season come to an end on Saturday afternoon at SUNY Brockport with a 16-8 loss to the three-seeded Attica Blue Devils in the Section V Class C championship.
With the victory, Attica secured its first title in program history.
The game was scoreless until early in the third quarter when the Bombers grabbed an 8-0 lead on a touchdown and two-point conversion. However, it was all Blue Devils after that as they scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns and converted two two-point conversions to complete the come-from-behind win.
East Rochester/Gananda finished the season with a 9-2 record.
