Crunch double up Senators, 4-2

The Syracuse Crunch bounced back from Wednesday’s loss with a 4-2 victory over the Belleville Senators on Friday night at the Upstate Medical University Arena. With the win, Syracuse moved to 3-6-1-2 on the season.

Declan Carlile, Gabriel Fortier, Jack Thompson, and Felix Robert all found the back of the net for the Crunch. Trevor Carrick, Alex Barre-Boulet, and Gage Goncalves each recorded two assists. Max Lagace turned aside 24-of-26 shots to earn his second win of the season.

Syracuse finished 0-for-1 on the power play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill.

The Crunch will be right back at it on Saturday when they host the Utica Comets. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m.
