Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott spoke to the media Wednesday and provided an update on quarterback Josh Allen, who suffered an elbow injury at the end of last week’s game against the New York Jets.
McDermott said Allen will be listed as day-to-day, and his status for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at Highmark Stadium is still up in the air.
If Allen can’t play Sunday, veteran backup Case Keenum will get the start against his former team. Keenum led the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game in 2017 after throwing a walk-off touchdown to Stefon Diggs.
Buffalo acquired Keenum from the Cleveland Browns in an offseason trade.
