The New York Lottery announced that there were numerous third prize winning Powerball tickets in the state.
The drawing, which was supposed to happen last night but happened this morning, wielded one grand prize winner in California.
In New York, one Power Play third prize was worth $100,000. 22 third prize tickets were worth $50,000.
The tickets that won had four matching numbers with the Powerball.
