Seneca Falls man taken into custody on warrants after resisting, obstructing during August incident

Police arrested a Seneca Falls man on two warrants over the weekend.

On Friday, around 2:51 p.m. officers arrested Charles Smith, 45, of Seneca Falls.

The first warrant stems from an incident that happened in August, where Smith ran from police and resisted arrest after an incident. He was charged with resisting, obstruction, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The second warrant stemmed from a probation violation incident.

Police say Smith was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to be arraigned.
