Ghost guns turned up in Seneca Falls, Lyons searches: Three arrested for drug and weapon sales

State police has arrested three people in connection with drug and weapons sales in Seneca and Wayne counties.

According to New York State Police, two search warrants were executed in Lyons and Seneca Falls on October 27th.

Cocaine, crack cocaine, weapons, and ammunition – including ghost guns – were seized at the two locations.

Jose Luis Gonzalez, 28, of Lyons was in possession of cocaine and crack cocaine. He was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Troopers said Gonzalez was also in possession of five high capacity ammunition magazines, a 9mm handgun, and an assault rifle. He was also charged with three counts of felony criminal possession of a weapon.

Police added that Gonzalez is a convicted felon who was arraigned and released to appear at a later date in local court.

Troopers said that search took place on Pilgrimport Road.


The second search, which occurred on Boston Avenue in Seneca Falls resulted in the arrest of Zachary Nicole Rodriguez, 22, and Santiago Andres, 30.

They were in possession of a 9mm ghost gun with an extended high-capacity magazine, as well as crack cocaine.

They were charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon, as a felony, in addition to criminal possession of a controlled substance, as a felony.

Police said the weapons charge carried additional weight due to the intent to sell the weapons found in Seneca Falls.
