The Penn Yan Police Department reports the arrest of a village resident following an incident in early-September.
Mae Rhoads, 35, of Penn Yan was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charge stems from an incident on September 6th where she was found to be in possession of Suboxone without a prescription.
Rhoads was issued an appearance ticket at the Yates County Jail where she was being housed on unrelated charges.
The new charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
