The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 40-year-old Corning resident following an investigation into multiple violations of a court order.
It’s alleged that Thomas Whitehead, 40, violated a court order, then attempted to elude police and resist arrest. It’s further alleged that he fled police in a vehicle, too.
Whitehead now faces a number of charges including four counts of felony contempt, felony reckless endangerment, and misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, fleeing a police officer, criminal mischief, and reckless driving.
He was arraigned and held due to the felony charges.
