Over the weekend the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Prevention Coalition collected more than 375 pounds of unused, unwanted, and expired drugs.
It was part of the bi-annual ‘Drug Prescription Take Back’ day.
The event was held in recognition of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s national campaign.
The illegal use of prescription drugs casts a wide net of public safety related issues.
