Deputies report the arrest of a Newark woman following a domestic incident that happened on West Miller Street in the village.
Casey McCabe, 29, of Newark was charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
She’s accused of being involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend, during which she pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the leg multiple times.
The male victim, who was not identified by police, was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
McCabe was processed at the Wayne County Jail and will appear in court in the coming weeks.
