Geneva man accused of falsifying documents in attempt to receive public benefits

Deputies report the arrest of a Geneva resident following an investigation involving public services in Ontario County.

On October 20th Kendrick Kemp, 30, of Geneva was found to have falsely completed and filed a workforce development job search report.

The documents were part of Kemp’s attempt to obtain employment and required for certain public assistance.

Deputies said that investigators with the public assistance entities involved determined that they were not completed.

Kemp was charged with offering a false instrument for filing. The charge will be answered at a later date.
