The New York Yankees were blanked by the Houston Astros, 5-0, in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium. Houston now leads the best-of-seven series 3-0.

New York’s offensive struggles continued as they had just three hits and struck out 11 times. Only one batter reached third base.

Gerrit Cole surrendered five runs (three earned) on five hits over five innings while walking two and striking out seven.

The Yankees will try to keep their season alive on Sunday with Nestor Cortes on the mound. The first pitch is slated for 7:07 p.m.
