The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says two people were sent to the hospital after a crash late-Thursday in the town of Sodus.

Around 8 p.m. Desmond Robinson, 28, of Geneva was traveling north on Route 14 when an alleged oncoming vehicle entered his lane causing him to leave the roadway and strike a tree.

Both he and his passenger were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for various injuries.

Deputies said in a release that the second vehicle could not be located.
