The Corning Museum of Glass is growing.
The StudioNEXT expansion launched on Friday.
The glass-blowing studios were expanded, where International art could be featured from professionals and students.
“In nearly 25 years, The Studio has experienced tremendous growth,” Karol Wight, President & Executive Director of the Corning Museum of Glass said in an announcement. “We need room and state-of-the-art facilities to support the leading artists in glass as they pursue their practice.”
The entire expansion will be complete in late-2024, according to Corning officials.
