Police: Canandaigua sex offender intentionally forged registry docs twice in 90 days

Canandaigua police arrested a 41-year-old on felony forgery charges after an investigation into his sex offender registry status over the summer.

It’s alleged that on August 5th Rayfield Williams Jr., 41, of Canandaigua falsely completed a mandatory change of address form.

He’s accused of intentionally providing incorrect and misleading information, and reporting that false information a second time 90-days later.

Williams was charged with two counts of forgery and will answer the charges at a later date.
