Teens accused of causing $17,000+ in damage at two commercial properties in Seneca Falls

Police report the arrest of three juveniles following an investigation that started earlier this year in Seneca Falls.

According to a news release, three teens, who were not identified due to age, are facing a number of charges due to vandalism that occurred at a pair of commercial properties.

The three are accused of spray painting inappropriate images to the interior and exterior of one building after entering the basement. A second commercial building close by was damaged by the same group.

All told, the three teens caused over $17,000 worth of property damage to the second commercial property.

The teens were charged with felony burglary, felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor conspiracy, misdemeanor criminal tampering, and two misdemeanors released to making graffiti.

While at the scene, one of the juveniles allegedly stole a check valued at less than $1,000 from a mailbox at one of the commercial properties.

That teen was charged with one count of petit larceny as well.

All three were petitioned to appear at the Seneca County Probation Department and released on appearance tickets. They will answer the charges in family court at a later date and time.
