Police arrested a Rochester man in the city following a larceny investigation at the Newark Walmart.
Adrain Taylor Sr., 44, of Rochester was taken into custody on an arrest warrant after being caught on store surveillance by an asset protection employee stealing over $3,000 worth of merchandise in August.
The theft happened on August 28th, according to village police, who say the total value was $3,030.
Taylor was recognized from a prior incident at the Victor Walmart store.
Police say he’s been charged with grand larceny and will answer the charge at a later date in local court.
