Police report a robbery in the 500 block of West State Street that happened on Thursday around 3:30 p.m.
Officers learned upon arrival that a victim was approached while waiting near a bus stop, then physically attacked.
It’s reported that while being punched multiple times – the suspect went into the victim’s pockets and stole several items.
A short time later officers spotted a subject matching the description of the suspect. They were stopped, and identified as 44-year-old Elijah Pratt, of Dryden.
He was found with several of the stolen items.
Police say Pratt was taken into custody on a felony robbery charge and held without bail.
