Canandaigua man sent threatening texts to court protected party

Police arrested a 35-year-old Canandaigua man following an incident on October 1st.

According to a news release, around 8 p.m. Jacob Dailey, 31, was arrested for criminal contempt and aggravated harassment.


Police say he violated an order of protection a few days earlier.

The violations included threatening text messages, which were sent to the protected party.

He was processed at the Ontario County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
