If you’re traveling through Yates County over the next couple weeks beware of some traffic delays on two major state roadways.
The state Department of Transportation says sections of Route 14A and 54A will be reduced to single-lane traffic for paving.
The work will occur Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Starting Monday, October 10th State route 14A between Vine Street in Dundee and Hoyt Road in Milo will be closed.
Then, beginning October 17th State Route 54A will be closed from Eastman Avenue in Penn Yan to School Road in Branchport.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of the month.
