The special session called earlier this week by the Yates County Legislature was quick-and-to-the-point.
The governing body voted unanimously to authorize immediate repairs to a portion of West Lake Road and surrounding property in Penn Yan.
It was damaged by a landslide during the spring.
The contract was awarded to Penn Yan’s City Hill Excavating for the total cost of $330,000.
There is no taxpayer implication for the expenditure.
