Geneva man had semiautomatic rifle with grip, telescoping stock, and flash suppressor

A Geneva man is facing a felony weapons charge after an investigation in the town of Seneca.

On Wednesday, October 5th around 4:30 p.m. John Serrett III, 38, of Geneva was arrested for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.


Investigation revealed that on September 22nd he possessed a semiautomatic rifle that had the ability to accept a detachable magazine and telescoping stock, pistol grip, and flash suppressor.

Serrett was held at the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
