Farmington man displayed handgun at Waterloo business during dispute

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on October 4th around 7 p.m. deputies responded to a business on Border City Road in Waterloo for a dispute.

According to a news release, Mario Torres, 39, of Farmington displayed a handgun in the presence of the victim.


The handgun was located inside Torres vehicle, which was at the scene.

When deputies arrived and investigated – Torres was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with second-degree menacing.

The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
