Trevor Williams surrendered a pair of runs over six innings. Mychal Givens tossed a scoreless frame in his first game off the injured list.
The Mets will host the San Diego Padres in the best-of-three National League Wild Card series. Max Scherzer will get the ball for Game 1 on Friday at 8:37 p.m.
