Troopers: Drug arrests made in Ontario after traffic stop along Rt. 104

State police report the arrest of two Wayne County residents following a traffic stop on Route 104 in Ontario.

Richard Parker, 27, of Newark, and Todd Heers, 46, of Marion were both arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop due to an expired inspection sticker.

Parker was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, multiple traffic violations, and also a bench warrant on a grand larceny charge.

Heers was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both will answer the charges at a later date.
