Traffic stop for suspicious vehicle leads to DWI arrest in Montezuma

State police arrested a Trumansburg resident following a traffic stop in the town of Montezuma on Saturday, October 1st.

According to a news release, police observed a suspicious vehicle on Route 31.


The operator, identified as Danielle Utter, 36, of Trumansburg was found to be intoxicated after a roadside investigation.

Utter was charged with DWI, refusal to submit a breath test, and open container.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
