Rochester woman charged with aggravated DWI after colliding with tree, road sign head-on in Williamson

Deputies say a Rochester woman was arrested for DWI after a single-vehicle crash in the town of Williamson, Wayne County. It happened during the late-night hours on Friday.

Mary Ellen Sirianni, 61, of Rochester was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and failure to stop. The charges stem from an investigation into a crash in Williamson where she failed to stop, and continued straight- leaving the roadway.

Deputies say her vehicle struck an arrow sign and tree head-on.

No serious injuries were reported in the crash. However, Sirianni was found to have a BAC of 0.20%. She was issued appearance tickets after arraignment and will answer the charges at a later date.
