An Auburn business man is facing legal trouble.
Robert Otterstatter, who is the co-owner of Octane Social House on Genesee Street is accused of using self-checkout at the Fairmount Wegmans in Syracuse to steal groceries.
Apparently Otterstatter had been banned from all Wegmans locations two years ago.
The reason for the ban was not disclosed. However, that meant Otterstatter could be charged with two felony counts of burglary.
Otterstatter ran for Auburn City Council in 2021.
