Police in Ithaca are investigating a robbery that occurred around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
According to a news release, the perpetrator stole property, then used force against the employee, to steal more property.
Before the added thefts could occur though, the suspect fled the scene.
Police say Jennifer Conklin, 48, of Ithaca was taken into custody a short time later.
Before being taken into custody Conklin failed to comply with officers.
She was charged with felony robbery, resisting arrest, and petit larceny.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
