Former Governor Andrew Cuomo is getting back to business. Except, it’s not directly involved in running for elected office.
Instead, the embattled former governor, who resign amid allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace, recently announced the launch of several new projects.
More than a year after resigning Cuomo released a video statement on Wednesday announcing a new podcast and forming a political action committee.
The 64-year-old had approximately $10 million left in a campaign account as of this summer. He called himself a producer, pointing out that ‘panderers’ are a major problem in the current political system.
“We need people committed to fight for change and who get results. We need people who have the character and the capacity to stand up and lead and take the heat that goes with leadership,” Cuomo added.
His podcast will be released weekly.
