Rochester Red Wings blow late lead in loss to Worcester

The Rochester Red Wings blew a late lead and fell to the Worcester Red Sox, 8-6, on Tuesday night at Frontier Field.

Rochester led 6-4 after six innings before allowing a run in the seventh and three more in the eighth.

Jecksson Flores smacked a three-run home run, his third long ball of the season. Jake Alu, DJ Peters, and Adrian Sanchez collected RBIs. Four of the nine starters recorded multi-hit games.

Joan Adon surrendered four runs on four hits over five innings while walking one and striking out five.

The two teams will close out the regular season on Wednesday at 1:05 p.m.
