The Harriet Tubman Booster Club hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony in the city of Auburn to unveil the finished Harriet Tubman mural on Saturday.
For years the Harriet Tubman Boosters have been raising money to finish the mural on the Nolan Block Building.
The work has been completed, and the mural was unveiled to the community over the weekend.
It’s 26 feet by 61 feet in size. It depicts Harriet Tubman as a determined, selfless woman leading through activism.
The mural was created by Arthur Hutchinson, of Auburn, New York.
