A Newark man was charged following investigation into a personal injury motor vehicle crash.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brody L. Horton, 22, of Newark for felony driving while intoxicated and obstructing governmental administration.
Charges allege that Horton was traveling east on Route 31 in Arcadia and went off the roadway. Horton struck a guardrail before coming to a stop and then left the scene of the accident. Horton was taken into custody at his residence following the crash and was also ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation.
Horton will appear before the Arcadia Town Court at a later date.
