Police say a motorist was charged with DWI after a traffic stop in Seneca Falls.
According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested John P. Donnelly, 40, of Waterloo for felony driving while intoxicated.
Donnelly was initially stopped when police observed him failing to stop at a stop sign on Fall Street. During the stop, it was determined that Donnelly was operating his vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was also charged with open container and no front plate.
Donnelly is due back in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
