The old Trombino’s restaurant on Pearl Street in Lyons is getting new life.
The Finger Lakes Times reports that Tim and Mary Knapp, former operators of Noonan’s in Perinton, will take over the historic restaurant.
It’ll be known as Trom’s.
Sean Dobbins owns the building, and has been searching for an operator since the last restaurant to make a run at that location closed a few years ago.
The couple lives in Victor. The tentative opening date for Trom’s is October 12.
According to Mary and Tim, the goal of the menu will be to mix old and new by paying tribute to the Italian background, while incorporating some of the pub style food sold at Noonan’s.
