The Waterloo varsity golf team suffered a close loss on Thursday at Silver Creek Golf Club.
While the team’s standout Senior John Siblosky fired a 4-under, 32 on the back nine at Silver Creek, it wasn’t enough to propel the team, who struggled behind him.
Waterloo shot a team total 245 narrowly losing out to Pal-Mac by two strokes, who picked up their fifth win of the season, improving to 5-1 in league play.
Henry Carlett led the way for Pal-Mac shooting a 45. Siblosky’s 32 included four birdies on 13, 16, 17, and 18.
Waterloo exited the match with a 2-2-1 record in league play.
