The Rochester Red Wings suffered a 10-2 loss to the Buffalo Bisons on Thursday night at Sahlen Field. With the loss, Buffalo has taken two of the first three games in this six-game series.
Rochester struggled to generate offense as they had just four hits, and both runs came in the top of the sixth inning on a pair of groundouts by Nick Banks and Jack Dunn. The Red Wings finished 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left eight on base.
Franklyn Kilome started on the hill and allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings while walking five batters. Ronald Herrera surrendered five runs in relief, and Luis Avilán gave up three.
The week-long series will continue on Friday at 6:05 p.m.
