Thanks to the help of Eastview Mall, this year’s Friends of the Victor Farmington Library fall book sale will be two and half times larger than last year’s. Held in the former Lane Bryant store in the Macy’s wing at Eastview Mall, the sale will feature a larger selection and plenty of room for shoppers to browse.
Sale hours will be Thursday, October 13th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, October 14th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, October 15th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, October 16th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Last year, shoppers suggested we explore contactless payments. This year, in addition to cash, contactless credit card payments will be accepted.
A new curbside donation drop-off will free donors from carrying heavy bags and boxes of books. Volunteers will take your donations of gently used books, at Door 1 by Adelita’s, from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, Sunday, October 2, Saturday October 8, Sunday, October 9th. To find the curbside donation drop-off, use the mall entrance across from High Street, drive along the east side of Macy’s towards PF Chang’s, and watch for our volunteers and signs. Due to limited space, the library is unable to accept book donations directly.
The Friends of the Victor Farmington Library thank the many volunteers and donors that make this annual favorite possible. More information can be found here.
